Let me paint a picture for you. I’m in an over sized t-shirt with drop crotch pants (all about the comfy life), with big a** sunnies on, even though it’s nighttime *cough*.

I got a bunch of notes (aka bills) in my hand and I’m “making it rain” all over my lounge room floor.

Ok! Let’s be honest, I’m not really doing that. In fact I’m probably already in my PJ’s, lying on the couch, ready to hit publish on my new video.

BUT I thought I could come across as “cool” for a minute, cause I’m about to drop my new video and it’s all about da MONEY!

We’re talking how to set money goals and the 2 biggest mistakes I see people making when they do.

So make sure you go check it out… It’s a good one, even if I do say so myself!

5 Levels of Financial Goals

These 5 levels of financial goals is what I got out of the book Money – Master The Game by Tony Robbins. I was obsessed with this book; I literally could not put it down.

# 1 Financial Security

This is when your investments can cover the following bills:

Rent/mortgage

Food

Utilities

Transportation

Basic levels of Insurance

# 2 Financial Vitality

When your investments provide you with an income sufficient to meet each of your items under Financial Security plus half the cost of the following:

Clothing

Entertainment needs

Small indulgence per month

# 3 Financial Independence

When you can produce an income that equals your jobs income. This will mean you are independent from work cause you don’t need to work to be able to live.

Now, you may be currently saving or investing a large chunk of your income and this isn’t included in this figure.

For example, you earn $100,000 but you only spend $50,000 therefore, it would only take $50,000 for you to become independent.

As the other money ($50,000) is what you use to save and invest in for your future.

# 4 Financial Freedom

This will cover the cost of everything that will make financially independent PLUS 2 or 3 significant luxury items (refer to your dream lifestyle).

It gives you not only your lifestyle today but it’s better because you’re adding in some fun stuff now.

# 5 Absolute Financial Freedom

If you could do WHATEVER you want, WHENEVER you want, with WHOMEVER you want.

This is your DREAM life.
