Branding Yourself In Network Marketing
Let’s say you’re in a health & wellness company. You absolutely love everything about it. You’ve been taking the products for some time and you feel amazing, so you want to talk about it to everyone.
Infact, it’s probably all you talk about…whether it’s face to face and all over your social media accounts.
Now, the worst thing you can actually be doing is posting your company name, logo or products all over social media.
The reason why I say this is for a couple of reasons.
Number one is that you come across as salesy and pitchy.
Number two is, even if there is a chance someone might be interested in what you’re showing, what do you think is the first thing that person is going to do?
They’re going to take your company name, head on over to Google and search on it.
Now, it’s pretty much a given that any company with some sort of success will have some bad reviews out there. So what do you think will come up, normally on the first page, when they search your company name?
And unfortunately, it’s human nature to look for the negative in things. So they’re more than likely going to click on that review and read or watch it. Then all of a sudden they have been swayed by this review and now have this negative connection to that particular company.
This is where you pretty much lose control of the outcome with that person. You’ve actually handed over control to Google.
